green services

GLC uses the term "getting green" to describe the process of businesses and households adopting eco-practices into their daily operations or lifestyles. We view it as a state of being that is constantly evolving, rather than an end point. We recognize that being green means different things to different people, so GLC works with you to set "green" goals that meet the specific needs of your business or household within your budget. After identifying the right goals, we work with you to set measurable objectives for achieving those goals and assist in monitoring the "getting green" process. The goals and objectives become part of a Green Plan that allows our clients to take action. While services vary depending on clients' needs, they range from implementation of consumption reduction strategies(e.g. waste or energy reduction), to integration of green products and technologies, and incorporation of products and practices that promote a more sustainable work or home environment.

Businesses can take advantage of our green education or orientation programs for employees (creating a culture of green) as well as receive support for instituting green business policies.

Households can create healthier home environments when we help you identify eco-friendly practices that help to reduce indoor air pollution, use household cleaning supplies that don't pose harm to your health, and incorporate other subtle lifestyle changes that promote healthier living for you and the planet.

In one day, the average person uses up to 183 gallons of water for drinking, cooking, washing, flushing, and watering, yet it is estimated that normal and efficient household use could save 31 percent of that, or 57 gallons per day per person.
